Biography

Rajat Pradhan joined Solaris Legal in 2024, having previously practised at Indian law firms. He is a disputes and regulatory practitioner, acting for domestic and foreign clients in arbitration, investigations and white collar defence, and advising on regulatory and non-contentious matters including data privacy and data breaches.

He advises on pre-litigation strategy, crisis management and corporate remediation for clients in information technology, infrastructure, engineering, sports, consulting, media and insurance. He appears in litigation and insolvency matters before the Supreme Court of India, several High Courts and specialised tribunals across India.

His article “Ironing out the creases: Re-examining the Contours of Invoking Article 142(1) of the Constitution” was cited by a five judge bench of the Supreme Court of India in Shilpa Sailesh v. Varun Sreenivasan [2023 INSC 468]. He conducts webinars on data privacy and writes for legal journals and online publications. He has been in practice since 2013.
