Trinath Tadakamalla

Trinath Tadakamalla is a partner of Solaris Legal, based in New Delhi. His practice covers commercial disputes, insurance and reinsurance, oil and natural gas, construction and engineering, and regulatory advisory work. He acts in litigation before the Supreme Court of India, the High Courts and sectoral tribunals and regulators, and in domestic and international commercial arbitration, both institutional and ad hoc.

In insurance and reinsurance he advises Indian insurers and overseas reinsurers on coverage, policy wordings and claims across energy, property, marine, liability and professional indemnity lines. In the energy and gas sector he advises on the regulatory framework under the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act 2006, including tariff, exclusivity, open access and the scope of regulation. He has been in practice since 2004.
